Between the Candle and the Star is the blog of Andrés G. Marrugo, a PhD student in optical engineering at the Technical University of Catalonia (Barcelona). I’m in the 4th year of my PhD. With this blog I hope to put out some thoughts that come about in the brisk of a second, or it may just be something cool I was able to do or something I recently found out.
In spite of this free spirit approach toward blogging, I’ll mainly blog about tweaks in Mac OS, Linux, some scientific computing, and the occasional piece of fiction. Even though I’m not an avid blogger, I think that by posting about problems or situations I’ve had to deal with someone else might find it useful. This is my contribution to the internet: from all I take from it, here’s something in return.
